Yes, this is a stunt show. They're excellent drivers, but the cars are mucho-prepped. I saw a TV special behind the scenes on it. They're like go-karts with stock-looking bodies on them (practically).

Looks like a fun job, but the cars aren't air conditioned, and they do like four shows a day straight through summer in Florida. Not exactly comfortable.

But cool nonetheless.

I was reading that they were powered by a hyabusa engine and the had a basic one gear forward and reverse. Pretty slick setup, wouldn't mind taking one of those for a stroll around the block.

Wow. I dont care what kind of cars those were. Skilled driver's is all I can say. Reverse over a 10 foot jump, no thank you!..lol

While the effect was very cool, it wasn't actually reverse. When they go off stage to the left (stage right) a new car comes out that has the body put on backwards, so the car is actually going forwards over the jump. Incredible display nonetheless.
