I never understood why the Fu(k would they sentence someone to multiple life sentences. I mean do they expect the guy to get re-incarnated after he dies the first time? But yes he did get what he deserved. 11 Life sentences is a long time.

I always thought that one life sentence was 25 years.

Exactly...Tax payer money going to waste.

And since he broke his leg, he gets to be on disability, and qualifies for early retirement I think.

It seems as if law enforcement in the U.S. is oftened trained at exerting excess force, no matter the situation.

You're freaking kidding me! The guy is shooting at the police with the sole intent to kill them and you think they exerted "excess force?" They could have rammed the barrel of that 12-gauge up his ass and pumped off a few rounds and it still would not have been too much force. EDITED out some parts so as not to be construde as a personal attack on anyone. keeping it civil.

EDIT: If you want to talk about wasting tax payer's dollars then maybe you should be looking into how much it costs to keep jackhole's like this alive in prison for the rest of their lives. Now there's a waist, and what's worse is it costs more to kill the SOB than it does to keep him alive. What happened to the days where we put a bullet in their head, put them in a wood box and buried them. Now everything has to be humane. How dare we put someone through the same horror that they imposed on others. No we have to be humane and make it as painless as possable or we don't do it at all, because I'm sure he gave a rat's ass how humane and painless the murders he was committing were.

i think the trooper made it pretty clear, hump, he wanted to kill him. buck shot flying, cars crashing, that was totally righteous to the last drop. i loved the gun flying over the windshield.
