the funny thing is that the police never really caught this kid. at the end of the video where it shows the car breaking down is actually the same clip of it slowing down at 2:15.. you can tell by the scenery!

he wasnt a bad driver. and i find it hilarious that they never caught him and tried to fake like they did by replaying when he slowed down.

I don't understand high speed chases like this, especially when the person decides to run. The runner and the cop are now endangering themselves and everyone they pass. Who cares if you drive a Camaro with "a chip," back off, call in a spike strip and catch him when his tires blow.

spike strips don't make it any safer for anyone.

I almost got hit in a head on when I down in florida. I looked across the highway and saw they have a strip out and two cop cars on both sides of the road. Well the other car went ripping through there hit it, and cut the wheel, went through the median and into on coming traffic on the other side of the highway.

It's better to just let them go inmo.

no, i think they were just saying informiong you he broke down...the only camera car they had i think was the one that spun out..
cant complain on the driving skill for him being 15

The kid had stolen the car from his father who was a track driver. I can't rem the details. The M3 finally ran out of gas about 15 minutes later. They did slow it down to make it look like the cops caught him on the highway though.

This was big back in the darpanet days.

not bad for a 15 year old. I really cant stand the narrator on that cops show. I understand the cops are doing their jobs but when i listen to that idiot narrating i cant be on the cops side. Just annoys the hell out of me how he thinks cops are the **** and the way he narrates about them.

I'm surprised the Camaro Z28 didn't get closer to him, but maybe the deputy didn't want to do so.

It was also funny to hear: "We've got the Z28, it's computer chipped which gives us more power than the general public."

Mmmmmmmmmmmm............ya...ok, like we can't buy computer chips.

Nice video, did you also notice how at around 2:15 the BMW was stopping much quicker then their high performance chipped Z28.
