Now, what I find really sad is that we spend how much $$ in an attempt to educate not only this child, but this child's parents. I wonder how far they got. Its strange to me that often peoples of this socio-economic status group can't figure out why they, and their children, aren't going anywhere in life. Why can't we get a break? Why aren't things better for my kids than they were for me? OH thats right, its CAUSE THE MAN IS HOLDING ME DOWN! That's right, the man! Its all his fault. SHeesh. Take a look around and start taking responsibility for the future.

I'm not attempting to alienate, and I think that the school voucher system would be an improvement and a benefit to those who wish to provide their children with a better education than is currently offered by their local school.

While this is not a discussion on schools, or school voucher, again I see it as an improvement to a problem.

I think Fullerton is referencing "this group" as being the losers that raise kids like that and wonder why their kids are losers. In my exeprience, people of "this group" prey on themselves too. If one of them is achieving success in education or work, they are considered uncool. Again, a self-defeating group of people that generally blames everyone else for their state in life.
