Most lions (make that anything) wont mess with water buffalo if they are in numbers. They are known for their bad tempers and they will protect their own. The will go after them but usually only if they are alone.

That was awesome! I still can't believe the young buffalo got up after being caught in a tug of war between lions and crocs.

I actually have been to Kruger National Park in South Africa. It was an amazing experience and is one of those things I think you should do before you die

The entire park is basically like a backwards zoo where the animals are on the outside and you are in the cage (OK, car). You are in the wild so you do have to watch your a**, but if you follow the warnings you should be fine.

Yeah this is an totally incredible clip. Unlike almost anything ever captured on camera. The way that crocodile comes and also tries to take the buffalo is crazy.

But then again I do live in South Africa

Thats what so amazing about this clip, even living here and people that go to the game reserves often, EVEN the game rangers themselves, are amazed as to what happened here.
