I hate that car. 1500lbs on big old Yoko A046 street tires(hardly), thats like having dragslicks. Im sure the ferrari and carrera had stock tires.

I think you're missing the point here...

Stock supercar tires are no Kumho Ecstas, and that electric car still destroyed two of the quickest production vehicles around by a lot...

It weighs 1500LBS! Its completely unfair. Thats more than 100% lighter than the carrera and ferrari. Would they ever be able to run in the same class as eachother....Hell no.

Its the same reason my 1965 vw bug rips on people. It only has 135 hp but runs 12.5. It shoots to 60ft in 1.7 seconds man. Light cars leave the line quicker and generally have more traction.

What "class" do a 360 Spyder and Carrera GT fall into, then? Expensive? Well the electric car is certainly expensive too!

I couldn't tell you. But there are minimum weight requirements for Pro and Am. drag cars. Lets say that weight was 1500lbs, would your car weigh 3,000? Mine wouldn't.

Basically it boils down to the fact that two of the most expensive and exotic(and fastest) supercars got beat by an oversized go-cart powered by a Duracell on roids. IMHO of course.

I'd still take the Porche home though.

I'm not saying this was a fair and sanctioned drag for ultimate glory/women. An electric car beat both a 360 and GT, thats pretty noble when you couldn't pay the average enthusiast a million bucks to sit in a prius.
