sweet car! question though...does the in-car footage look like it's speeded up to anyone else? the speed at which he takes some of those corners seems crazy!

yea at one point you hear someone speaking in the mic and they sound like a chipmonk...lol. There is a video of it in realtime and it sounds insane, the tires break loose in about 1,2,3 and part of 4th gear.

There is an article in the Oct '06 Motor Trend for the tuner that makes the 575hp R32's. Its quite impressive, but an additional $38500 on top of the price of the car is WAAAAY high just to run a 11.9 1/4 mile. Something we could do for $5000 or less. More impressively is the standing mile in 30 seconds at 176 mph.

But it definitely looks sleeper.

When the videos are sped up it ruins a lot of the realism and credability. With 580 horses the playback speed didn't need to be tampered with. Looks like a very quick car though.

That video is sped up, because I have seen the original, and yes, the golf is fast. But they aren't going a trillion miles an hour around corners, and the car dosnt sound like an F1, like someone stated. HAHA. The original vid is kick ass though.
