IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2008 | I know someone who drives a charger srt-8, he both hates the car, and is whipped I've driven it, its only redeeming quality is the sound it makes, other then that its a giant pile of crap that handles like a boat |

| STI Driver Feedback Score: 0 reviews | Thats good, we need to raise kids up who have brains, and don't buy a car because they need to prove they have huge ****s. I hate profiling people, but most of the people I meet who have amercian muscle cars are allwasys the same type of dudes, they think they are the ****. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2009 | Or old guys who had nothing better to spend their money on, since they already have a house in Florida and a $500,000 RV. When I saw the commercial, I just laughed at the car choice. The commercial was good, yes, but relating it to a boat with decent power was enough to make most car enthusiasts giggle. Doc, your kids are my heroes. Give them a hug, from me. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2006 | Charger SRT-8 = Chick Car Though, I must say that it blows doors on the STI for long trips. The heated seats and creature comforts are very nice. Its great on the highway for passing, etc. I would never consider it a cone-carver or bring it anywhere near any kind of weather in an aggressive manner. A summer cruise down Hwy 1 to Big Sur is perfect for this car. It is by no means a high-quality vehicle. Factory support is close to 0 and it's driveline is weak as dirt (MBZ) for a muscle car. The motor is downright scary on cold starts. The rocker noise is freaky. It almost sounds like rod-knock. (But normal according to the dealer...yeah right.) Its insanely heavy and cumbersome and goes through brake-rotors like Pamela Anderson goes through has-been rocker dudes.... Bottom line is my wife loved it....so I bought it. I actually traded my Magnum R/T for the STi. It was my answer to the minivan, which I refused to buy. It was great with a newborn and taking trips, but the daily grind back and forth to work left me bored and I also bought a Titan last year which is better for long trips as my travel trailer usually comes along. It made sense to get something more fun in the corners. | |
