IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2006 | I happened across this video tonight. It is NOT ME. This is the owner of my old Neon ACR laying it to rest. He just rolled it about a month ago and I think he has given up on the car finally. It is a shame. I loved this car and put well-over $10K into it before selling it for my STI. I was actually looking into buying it back as a commuter before he rolled it. And no. The shi**y chrome wheels were not mine. The Team Dynamics on the rears were mine. Fuc* what a shame. | STI Driver Feedback Score: 1 reviews | I just saw it on streetfire and was about to post it. Let me get this straight, he fixed up w/e blew up in this video and then rolled it? That makes it a double fail like none other. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2006 | Nah. He bought the car from me with $10K into it and 120K on the odometer. He pulled the motor, rebuilt it with quality internals, threw on a long tube, and continued the tasteful mods. About a month ago he rolled the car. That was all I knew until I texted him about a minute ago. I guess he had several crap motors around the garage, was bored, through one in, and blew it up on purpose. He did not expect the flywheel to come through the hood though. The car is now being parted out to build another one. All he'll need is a cage and he'd have a fun track car once all the parts are swapped. The only thing that made the ACR an ACR was the suspension, 2.0 magnum, and a stripped interior. I am sure it won't be hard to find a donor...still sucks to watch my good ol' ACR get beaten to shi*. |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2006 | It wasn't so ricey under the hood when it left me. I tried these blue velcro ties instead of zip-ties...you know to be "green". NVM that it was a lame idea...lolz Thank you though. I texted him earlier. He said it scared the shi* out of him when something suddenly "karate chopped the hood from underneath"... |
