If you are backing the plan to stick around in Iraq for the next 100 years - you're anything but patriotic. If your idea of being patriotic is killing off your nation's young people, then you need to rethink your priorities. Obama all the way - he can't possibly be any worse than Bush, and actually most of his policies are the complete opposite, which I strongly support.

The scary thing is the Obama has not voted for ANYTHING significant during his time as Senator. He has sad "present" yet never voted Y or N. Obama speaks of change....what change? O the patriot act, HA what a joke, lets just let the government in on all of our lives please and destroy the Constitution (YEA OBAMA) Universal health care, wow give me some incentive to work my a** of when I have to pay for some stranger's medical bills because THEY chose to smoke or treat their body terribly. Lets raise taxes some more so when I work for a year the only money I see is AFTER working 4 months just to pay off taxes. FOX new is republican and MSNBC, CNN (Clinton National Network). The media needs to tell the people the TRUTH because if they dont have a story the news will make one up. The funny part is all the mouth breathers believe what is being said on the news rather than thinking for themselves and their morals. Taken out of context entirely. What would you have said during WW2? We're still in Germany and Japan, are we not? I'm 18 and I can see how the press twisted that one. Thank for posting that and completly proving the video to be true.

See, but WWII is a whole different thing, you can't compare WWII with Iraq, Afghanistan, or even Vietnam. Those are NOT wars whose purpose is to defend yourself from foreign invasion (which I absolutely approve of and would gladly go fight in), those are (IMHO) bull**** wars whose sole purpose is either strategic domination, purely imperialistic political goals , a natural resource such a oil or just personal thievery of the people in charge (Haliburton contracts and such). I see no benefit at all from our involvement in Iraq (we wasted a ****load of money, a whole bunch of people got killed (on all sides), we didn't get Bin Laden , the economy and gas prices are in the ****ter....).
Bottom line is - if you have military presence in another country (without their permission) it's called an invasion. WWII was not an invasion, US got involved with permission and cooperation of the countries it fought side by side with. I think this is a very bad example.
Anyway, the reason why US has terrorism problems is the same reason ALL other imperialistic counties have them - when you're messing with a country, you'll have people rebelling. UK is going through the same thing in northern Ireland. It's called imperialism, and this is result of it.
Want to fight/end terrorism? Here's a tip : Get out of the countries that don't want you there. I guarantee no one will be blowing stuff up anymore. (and it'll be much cheaper also - (we're trillions in debt due to the Iraq war)).
Did you notice how only imperialistic countries have problem with terrorism? Now ask yourself why.

Per the meetings earlier this week, the Iraqi Prime Minister, al-Maliki want us out of there in the next year and a half. Are you indicating the occupation should continue despite the wishes of the Iraqi government? There's a term for that. Starts with "Hostile".

Oh, yea, I fully agree that the current situation is really F'd up! But hey, good luck figuring out what's the best thing to do right now. I really wouldn't want the job of figuring that one out.
The sad part is that the Bush administration is going to get out of the office next year, and go back to enjoying they money they raked up in the last 8 years, while someone (probably Obama) is going to get stuck with cleaning this mess up.
