Gallardo vs. 135

Initially like most I thought "WTF" but I now have a new found respect for these little things.

Um. I can't decide between "WTF?!" or "Holy sh!t?!"...not to be a dick, but that was a gallardo (500hp/369tq) so a specially tuned 135 with various mods barely beating a gallardo is not that impressive...maybe if it was an LP640, but its not. I bet a decently modded STi could take a nearly stock gallardo easy.

Not without swapping turbos, especially from a roll. That 135 would have killed a tuned stock turbo STI.

Yea I'm thinking you maybe are mistaken here. I don't think an sti with a tune, dp and cai would out-do a gallardo from a role.

It would definitely take some race gas. Don't gallardos trap ~110-113. There are few stage 2s that trap that, but its possible.

Those things can be very fast. A local guy was making around 450wtq/whp. That was until his motor and turbos grenaded...

Fake as ever, please. I've met the Vishnu crew at the track. Very much into themselves, and into their tunes. Do I think this is real and that the Lambo driver was really giving his all? Um...................no. Just like when they told me their tune was amazing, and I tore them up at the track. Let an independent crew film this and I'll believe it more, not some promo crew for your new tunes!

Is this the format that Vishnu is promoting their services now?
There is no doubting the 135 is a potent car, but I have a difficult time believing it will take a Gallardo, as much as I'd like to see it happen.

Well a 2004 Gallardo is a mid to low 12 sec car so a modded 135i keeping up with it from a low speed roll isn't out of the realm of possibility, although I suspect the AWD Lambo would have a considerable advantage from a dig. I think any of these type of videos must be viewed with suspicion especially given that the lambo driver badly missed one shift he could be a ****ty driver. I would be more convinced if I could see the tach.

I trapped 111 with only a tbe, mbc, and a tune. This was my first time at the track so I know it has more in but it has more mods now. I have a 6 speed so no gearing advantage for me.

Btw a Gallardo is about the same as a stock Z06 which destroys STIs even with a 20g from what I've seen. A Gallardo will probably put down 450 on a dyno jet and run mid 11s stock Z06s have gone high 10s bone stock though.

The odd thing is is from a roll the 2 bone stock cars were fairly even, but with the proper drive the Z06 will edge out in the 1/4 mile.

Again, it's a promotional video FOR VISHNU. You think they're going to set all of this up for the 135 to get beat? Yeah right, Isn't that Vishnu's Lambo? You think he wouldn't let off for sales purposes? In my opinion.................um...yeah.
