IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2006 | This video is pretty crazy. I could care less about the race because I'm just amazed how fast the guy in the Evo shifts. Power shifting FTMFW! My friend semi power shifts where he is only giving the car half thottle while shifting. I have yet to try because well I never needed to. He does everything to get every little bit of speed. Been doing this ever since he got the car and he now has 54k on the Evo with stock clutch. That in itself is pretty awesome. CFT EVO vs Titan built Supra - Video |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2004 | power shiftiing aka shifting without letting off the gas aka Flat foot shifting is just a drivers preferance really... --- as for that evo driver shifting his not bad at all but that evo seems to have a dog box tranny ( clutchless shifting ) --- i have a friend who has about close to 60k on his stock clutch on his evo hahaa clutch still good.. then again his the only one has ever passed the 15k miles clutch life on his evo haaha and i know quite alot of evo owners Last edited by 13onesti; 05-14-2008 at 09:09 PM.. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2006 | Flat foot shifting can be programmed into the ecu. Welcome to the 90's. It's just a roll race...not much skill involved. Sick cars though. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jan 2006 | You must know A LOT of people that can't drive. I have 28k on mine with multiple street launches and it doesn't slip at all. 28k in a year so i drive a lot. I know a lot of people with over 40k on stock clutch. No probs at all. |

IWSTI Addict since: Jul 2006 | IDK then. I don't see why a FFS map would make him shift slower. Damn sure sped up my shifting in my STi when I had it. |
