I'll say something. When you have a 12 year old kid try to stab you in the middle of Baghdad when your handing out soccer balls or have 7 people you know personally die in a Medevac helicopter that was shot down with a shoulder fired missle while while transporting patients you'll start to scratch the surface of the mentality of some of these people. I say some because I met Iraqis who are some of the nicest people I have ever met. And then there are those you saw in the video. The same ones who cut heads off of innocent civilians and tape it to make a point. The same ones who put women and children in a building they use to store weapons and have meetings knowing we either won't hit it or if we do it's a political coup for them. Your the type who thinks we just go around wild west style and shoot up who ever and whatever we feel like. Want to know what my rules of engagement allowed me to do with the kid that tried to stab me? Nothing at all. Not even a butt stroke or a beat down. But really it wasn't his fault. It was his adult influences that taught him that what he tried to do to me is OK. If there was a foreign army in my country I would be pissed about it but it wouldn't make me teach my 5 year old how to behead someone or detonate a suicide vest. You need to to wake up to the reality thats in front of you and realize that we're in a fight with someone that has no morals or ethics with regard to humanity. I have to assume you were around to see 9/11. The Cole. The embasy bombings in Africa. This is the same mentality that makes it OK to kill someone in a wheel chair and dump their body in the ocean. Yeah remember the Achili Lauro hijacking? Or how about Pam Am 103? What were those people guilty of? Not much except being on the wrong plane at the wrong time. They want to kill you for the simple fact that you are not Muslim. As for your comment about protecting their land as a reason for what they do it goes to show how uninformed you are. A vast majority of those responsible are not even from Iraq. Saudis, Syrians, Jordanians, Iranians, Egyptians have all been found to be responsible for alot of what you see. The other side of it is sectarian. Shiites, Sunnis, and Kurds all want the whole ball of wax to call their own and have been fighting over it forever. And whoever is in the middle of it gets the backlash. I know this is an over simplification but do a little research and become smart enough on the subject to form an educated opinion rather than just assuming we're "brainwashed". I have enough will power to keep from being "brainwashed" by what is shown strictly on all the doom and gloom news channels after it's been tailored to look as bad as possible for the horror hungry public.

I do agree to some of your points like a kid trying to kill you etc.. its parenting.. not smart but for a reson. People are so desperate there that they will sacrifice their kids. For most people its beyond imagination, like vtecSTI.. who will one day grow up and understand. (maybe)

It's all the same can of worms. Just a different worm. I agree that watching someone get killed just for the sake of entertainment may be an issue for some but for me and others who have seen first hand what these so called "people" are willing to do and for what reasons seeing them check out in a messy pasta strainer conversion kinda way is nice and satisfying especially when it's a case of the Flintstones meets the Transformers type of thing. Also lets not forget that what goes on in those vids is only about 5% of the whole story. As a pilot I can tell you that there are alot of levels to go through before you can pull the trigger and make a martyr. And to be able to surgically remove four individuals and save the dog is about the best outcome you could ask for.
