I'd take that Z ANY DAY over an SRT(no matter what HP it had) It is however one of the best examples fo rice I have seen in a while.

All you'd have to do is pop off all the plastic parts and the wing and you'd have yourself a sweet Z car.

I came from a 350Z before my STi and it was an excellent, well put together car that was quick and handled extremely well.

I think it will take more than this to get banned.

To answer your question...I dislike the Neon SRT4 because it sounds like crap, looks like crap, the BOV is annoying, many many owners are less than cool, its FWD, and handles like crap. I respect that it is a powerful, cheap, American made car.

I think the reason most people hate on the SRT4 and their owners is b/c somewhere along the line they developed a reputation for having arrogant ****y owners that believe their car is a ferrari killer or something along those lines. I believe most of this is b/c they are fairly cheap and plenty of kids probably got them as a first car. They probably then watched Fast and the Furious and thought since their car was turbo they could add nitrous and run nines

. Some may have even flooded countless online forums making outrageous claims about what their car could supposedly do. They probably also revved up at and raced about any modified car they met on the roads. I know there are plenty of humble SRT4 owners with quick proper built and tuned cars but it's stuff like this that causes the steriotypes. I meet guys like this everyday but I just try to ignore them.

I'll tell you what makes the impreza a better car than a neon... just check consumer reports. That is where you will find the answer. Why do you think they only made the SRT4 for two years? That might also give you an answer....

Also what everyone else said in response to this ridiculous outburst is also very true, especially the part about most neon owners being complete ass hats. My friend from back home owns an SRT4 (with like 450whp) and he has told me COUNTLESS times that he has never met another SRT4 owner that he has liked. He says the are all fat idiots who are way into their cars. He also wishes he had bought an EVO instead of the SRT.

As for the SRT4 itself, the only thing i respect about it is it's ability to make large amounts of power for cheap, and go fast in a straight line on the highway. Other than that, they are cheap, ugly cars, with cheap interiors and no handling.

My response to the SRT-4s to me it is just plain ugly. I met a guy the other day with one probably 18 and im 20. Were on a wide open road stopped at a light with no one around. He looks over at me gives me a whats up but then proceeds to just drink his redbull and look foward with no intention of racing. Then after the light changes and we are up to about 20 mph he decides he wants to race. WTF? So ive got 4 people in the car all around 200 pounds each and I look at him roll down the windows so he can see them and he just continues to slow down and rev. So he guns it and i go to just to see and of course he pulled on me and my 1000 extra pounds. But we come up to another light from that which he comes creeping up as slow as he can so he doesnt make a complete stop. And then just floors it again. It became blatantly obvious that this little bastard wouldn't race me from a dig. After that Id had enough of the race but he just wanted to keep racing me from a roll (Without any signals to go just him flooring it and seeing if id catch up) just kept looking at me with a s**t eating grin and revving until i turned off on another street. Seemed like a load of garbage to say that he could beat an STi to me. Anyways, my question is if i was the only one in my car at a stop against the stock SRT-4 who would win? I'm stage 1 by the way.

The one guy said..."That thing is riced out..." turns the camera around and the big effing pointless wing on the Neon gets in the way. Yeah that guy in the Z was sad but man SRT 4's aren't much better. lol

At least the wing on the 350Z might come in handy, lol if it doesn't fall or get ripped off first by the downforce.

Because there is so much dumb crap on the SRT 4 thats completely useless. First and most obvious is the wing. Come on now is a FWD car!!! Also FWD? Another crappy feature. Least fun car to drive is FWD car. I think everyone can agree on this.

My last car was an 07 SS/SC Cobalt which I had for 7 months. I left it completely stock because I knew it wasn't worth doing anything to and no it didn't have a big wing. I got the smallest one I could get on it because I hate pretending I need stuff on my car that doesn't benefit my car at all.

When I think Impreze I don't think crappy little gasoline saver unlike I do with the Neons. So everytime I see an SRT - 4 I think Neon which is a POS fugly car to begin with. I've seen the regular Neon's modded all the time and I no its pointless because there all N/A. Now think Impreza and what comes to mind? AWD, Turbo, 2.5L goodness with some actually POTENTIAL.

I could go on and on but I feel like I've done enough ranting so I leave you guys with some good SRT 4 quotes that I'm pretty sure I've gotten from people off here. lol Say this to any SRT 4 owner who talks crap and it really gets them going, trust me I know.
