yeah i saw a post about this a while ago, its nothing new.

i think the saabaru would've been more worisome than a rebadged forester being sold in india.

I read a couple of years ago that GM had something like 20% stock in Subaru. So this shouldn't be too much of a surprise.

True, but this was sold to Toyota last year I believe. In fact, Toyota is now using Subaru's US plant in Indiana (I think) to build Camrys.

GM gave up it's share in Subaru over 10 years ago.

When GM bought out Saab 3 years ago Saab had been in the works with Subaru for their sport wagon.

The Saab 92x wagon is almost identical to the WRX minus the hood scoop.
Great move for Subaru because it was detuned a bit for Saab...
