remember those shares were bought from GM

toyota will remove the boxer lineup, and start building v6 and i4 subarus.. the turbos will be the next to go...and what we'll have in 5 years is what mitsubishi did the the eclipse. from turbo awd compact to a fwd 3600lb coupe that sometimes is called sporty because it has low profile tires.

i fear for what subaru is if this happens. it will no longer be a focus driven company speciallising in boxer engines and awd systems.

As long as subaru's product doesnt change I dont care. If subarus designs start to become very boring and power decreases then I will have a problem.

I highly doubt they would dramatically change the Subaru lineup if they bought them. It's not like they'll buy Subaru in 2008 and wham the 2009 models will be camry's in a different shell.
