The radiator and the intercooler are mounted in a "V" config - hence the name. Although it is hard to tell from the pics how much of a V it is...

So the radiator is one part of the "v" and the intercooler is the other part?

I was thinking along the lines of sport bikes that have a "v" radiator that is split into 2 parts, connected in the middle.

Looks like a pretty good setup.

So besides the price, how would this work as far as gaining performance?

I would guess we will see more info when they release it, but if I had to guess:

1. less tubing vs. a fmic
2. larger core than a tmic
3. not subject to as much heatsoak as a tmic
4. core is probably as large as many fmic's

Of course you would hope that their core doesn't introduce a huge pressure drop and cools effectively...

I don't see why not if you have it tuned properly. Now would it make sense in terms of price, performance, etc...that is a whole can of worms.

I dont see the money being worth the small amount of performance your going to pick up.
