Specs are the same. Everything is basically the same. What info are you looking for?

They're probably in production right now, I'd expect to see the first MY2007 STI's hit lots sometime in the next few weeks.

".....powered by a turbocharged and intercooled 2.5-liter DOHC Boxer engine producing 293 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 290 pound-feet of torque at 4,400 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission"

This came from a post about the new Limited. However, all new STi's will have marginally less power. Nothing terribly noticable I hope.

If I remember correctly the 2006 models hit the dealerships in August (maybe early September??). I would guess that around that same time is when you will see them but I bet you can go ahead and order one now (people have been able to place orders for the limiteds for several weeks now).

I looked through some older threads, and about the earliest "got mine" post I could find was August 21st. So we should be getting pretty close now...

For cryin out loud, NO THEY WON'T HAVE LESS POWER. They are the SAME engine, the system they use to measure the power is the ONLY difference. Under the new SAE HP rating system, our 300 hp engine puts out 293. How many times do we have to go over this?

Just simply call Subaru of America and your local dealership. I haven't been a member here very long and I can't tell you how many of these threads I have seen. I doubt anyone here will no anything before Subaru of America.

It's likely that most people on this board know more than any Subaru dealership. It's that way with all the brands. The salesdroids don't care about the car, they just try to sell 'em when they arrive. The enthusiasts on forums like this are eager to find information and have a good network for doing it. You'll almost certainly hear it here first.
