| Drive True | I'm gonna use the break-in hard method that was discussed somewhere in this forum...something about making the cylinder rings seat properly? I forget exactly and I'm too lazy to look it up This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2002 Trader Rating: (12) | I'm doing the recommended break-in for the car; be it 1000 miles or 500 miles. But within the first few miles I'm gonna get the engine into higher rpms. After about 10-20 miles of doing that I'm gonna finish breaking it in normall out of the boost. |

IWSTI Addict since: Apr 2002 Trader Rating: (0) | I'm going to follow the manual to the letter. Then I'm going to change the oil at 1,000, 4,000, 7,000 with a high-quality natural oil. At 10,000 miles I'll be switching to Amsoil Synthetic and running that for the rest of the life of the car. BTW, I am considering becoming an Amsoil dealer. I'll be willing to give a discount to list members. Anyone interested? J.B. WRXtra |
