Looks like a magazine artist's rendering of what a STI might look like if it were based on the B5-TPH concept car. Which, by the way, Subaru has stated will not be the next Impreza.

Like wdb said the '07 STI is not being redesigned. It's going to look exactly like the '06 version, except there will be a limited version as well.

Maybe in '08 there will be a redesign, but who knows, since that is so far away.

EDIT: And those pictures that are linked in this thread are not actual shots of the car and are very outdated.

Alright so the 07's are going to look exactly the same, but are there any other minor changes?
Since I heard this recall on the 06's because of the engine mounts I was thinking that Subaru would've already replaced the engine mounts on the 07's to metal once like on teh 04's and 05's which would be nice. I'm just curious since for the past 3 years they have been changing the STI every year.

^^ Yeah, I'm pretty sure the '07 will have better mounts than the '06.

I hope you are right . Two major issues keeping me from buying an 06 right now are insurance and motor mounts hehe. I hope they change them for the 07. My hunch is that they will. What were they thinking when they put plastic mounts on an STi

Maybe the STI LIMITED, but specs for the regular STI haven't been listed unless I missed something....

Well, Subaru is bragging about the Limited, and bragging about the Spec B Legacy, so it seems reasonable that if there were anything to brag about in regards to the "regular" STI, they would be doing it. Ergo, the "regular" STI will remain essentially unchanged from 2006.

If they continue the trend of adding a short list of improvements each year, I think that for '07 they will change the motor mounts, add MP3 capability to the audio player, and have small tweaks to the DCCD system by adding another sensor here or there. Haven't they changed out one of the differentials each year? I recall something about helical --> mechanical for the '06.

I just want an STi wagon. I'd be buying a new car in '07 if they came out with one. Why, oh why, can't SOA sell one here in North America?
