Yep, in the british EVO magazine, the Impreza spec c beats the Evo FQ-300 by a pretty considerable margine

A grey market STi vs. an official UK spec Evo VIII... Take a look at the specifications (from a different article) and it's pretty obvious why the Spec C won.

AUTOCAR magazine, i've read the one fm. EVO mag where they
compared the Spec C (same wheelbase as USDM btw) with other high performance machines like Clio V6, Ferrari Stratsdale (did i spell it right), M3 CSL. And yes a worked our Evo8 by Ralliart UK (330PS) version. STI Rocks!

STi is lighter and more HP.. that is the formula for winning in my books..

Ok, so what I want to know is what differences there are in the Spec C that cut the understeer down. Is it just a case of the STi 'pink' springs and strut bars? or is there more to it?
