From Aus: Legacy STi - sort of...

A couple of days old now, but just noticed this news from the Subaru Australia folks who are announcing a hot Legacy (Liberty down under) that "will use some STi parts". They have apparently already put out a limited edition Impreza WRP10 along the same lines - seems to be a WRX/STi cross.

Several here have wished for a Legacy STi - maybe this effort can get SOA onside??

There is/was a Legacy STi for the JDM, not sure if it was ever introduced in Europe. I've got video of it somewhere around here. Very nice machine. Basically the same engine and transmission of the JDM STi. Although I'm not sure what year it is.
