yeah, i read that too, and believed it, until I got my '06. The intake is in fact aluminum, there are plenty of unpainted/machined bosses on it to confirm that... oh well. I was all for a composite intake, lighter, likely better flow, possibly better geometry, and as long as it was covered by the warranty I wouldn't be concerned with durability.... as long as it could withstand a little higher boost pressure than stock
