Design change? What change?

I can not believe Subaru would produce such a "girlie man" design change to their new 2006 Impreza lineup. It never fails, A few 'cool' designs are produced, then the final product is a cop out. I hope GM does not have anything to do with this. If GM buys Subaru, I will convert to Audi's.

Why would the Impreza be redesigned then "totally" redesigned again. Can anyone explain this to me? I hope Petter S. does a better job next season. I wish Subaru would hire Marcus Gronholm for the 2006. He has a lot of anger to release. He can win with the right car, a Subaru.

I love Subaru's, but these recent design changes have thrown me for a loop.

Yeah I dont understand why subaru would give the car a huge refresh one year before a totally new Impreza (which they wont even call the impreza). Who knows, maybe subaru will keep the 06-style WRX for the 07MY and for the 08MY totally redesign it... We all know to not assume anything when it comes to Subaru, they sure do their own thing. I cant beleive the Tribeca actually has that nose, and that even after all the magazines feedback on the only real downside of it is that the ugliness will turn buyers off, subaru puts it on the impreza.

I've just been suprised by the whole STi line these (almost) 3 years. Its very unusual these days to see a car get changed every model year like the STi has. I'm just glad I got an '05.

06 mostly only got exterior refresh to be in line with new Subau face...
