"Lame comment"... you have to replace the entire front bumper valence on the car if you want to change the grill (it's one piece).

So, if you want to drop a couple grand on a new front bumper and paint, then yes, my comment is lame. Btw, you will have to replace the hood as well... unless you are going to buy an aftermarket front bumper that utilizes the shape of the stock hood.

Your right, my comment was very lame. One more comment... I have never seen a bodykit that I would say looked to be factory quality.

Remember that is the JDM model. Not the USDM spec. US is suppose to be staying the same 300/300. Infact I believe it is already confirmed the same.

I really like this look. I can't seem to find those rims anywhere though. Are they simply the standard STi rims in silver? They look slightly different...

So does that mean they are selling them as an option on the new STi? Interesting, because they look fairly nice.

After giving the new look a day, I can say that overall I like it. Minus the front grille, I really liked the photochopped version. Just take out the center piece on the grille and smooth it out for Gods sake!
"2nd" wing must go. I like the "cat eye" headlights. I like the 04/05 tail lights better. I agree with some that said that the 06 front does not look as aggressive as the 04/05s either.
This car has its pluses and minuses like any car but over all(minus front grille and 2nd wing) its a nice look.

I think the left over 05 STI's will be worth more than the 06. Get-em while you can

What do you mean front end in your rearview?? You'll be seeing the rear end in front of you most likely!

I joke that most Subarus look better in the back than in the front. The 06 styling, however...

Don't like the rear lights. Too Altezza-looking.
Don't like the headlight shape. The 04/05 is better.
I disagree with it looking "too busy" in the front. If it had alot of vents like the GC8 style, that would be "too busy." But I'd like that style better.
The rear should say S U B A R U on it. I don't want people to mistake that they just got beat by a Subaru.

The new STI looks really good. It looks like it has better aero-dynamics and better drag C.E.

I just saw the Tribeca at my local dealership and I must admit that it does look better in person than in pictures (like most Subaru cars it seems lol.) One thing I don't like is this turn towards the chrome grill look. The Legacy has it, now the Tribeca, and maybe the Outback. In my opinion chrome grills are really tacky looking for the most part (though the 300C suits it.)

as long as they keep the clutch the same quality or better for the '05s that will also be important...
let's hope they don't become MITSUBISHI EVOLUTION PART II
