That wing should be an option.

Actually all newly re-designed BMW's have dropped in sales roughly 30%.

So no, the design does play a big part in the customers mind, as the new car may be superior in every way except looks but people still wont buy them.

Nothing looks as mean as the 04-05 front end in your rear view mirror! The 06 front looks "friendly" in those pics.

Wow...if that's true, it makes perfect sense. The previous generation was very refined. The latest looks like a plastic toy mould.

*pssst*
You may not know this, but Subaru designs the car for their power/speed goals, if you missed it this is not the "commuter car" you might think this is

According to a Subaru insider those pics circulating are a modified '05. The '06 model will have dual exhaust.

Add the '05 scoop, subtract the roof spoiler.... I could live with that!! I might still hold out to see the '06 in person... but if the rumors are true (no performance gain, 50lb heavier, more expensive) I'm definately going '05...

^^ that just goes to prove what a huge difference one small change can make. That Photochop looks so much better, just with a different grill. I still hate the new headlights though. They have that Pontiac "cats eye" look to them. I like the squarish look of the 04/05 front end. The combination of the new grill, headlights, and hood lines make it look like every other car's front end, and much less aggressive. Compare the front view of this car with a pic of a Grand Am - that's what I see when I look at it (minus the hood scoop of course).

$.02

That does look a little better to me. I guess if it made an extra 50 HP I really wouldn't care too much how it looked! It's not like the '04 or '05 are all that dang sexy to begin with. I .......do........like .......them..... however..........a lot.

I noticed the new Tribeca showed up at the local Jacksonville lot, so it won't be long. Wait and see......I just hope my '05 I ordered shows up before the '06's do! Then again.....if it does have the extra 50 HP.......hmmmmm

This is not correct, I just checked the 2006 factory service manual at techinfo.subaru.com and both the WRX and STi are single pipe just as in 2005.

BMW sales were up 10% in Q1.

Second only to Toyota at 11%.

ummm, I was being sarcastic....
