I like the stripes.

The "signiture" made my morning.

$50,000?? I would rather have mine with $20,000 to spend! Mine would run with his 9 sec STI and without the white stripes.

Default 3" Vibrant Exhaust for sale fits on a (STI or Wrx)

What happend to the Cobb WRX?

When the wrx first came to the states I was talking with cobb about building one to track. at that time I could see that a WRX wasn't going to get me where I wanted to be so I left it at that but,

When I was talking to them there was talk of a Cobb WRX available to buy at select dealerships with warranty.

My question is Where is it? What happend to that Idea? Cobb IMO would have made the better Limited run car.

This was years ago and now we got an ESX Sti?
sheesh Cobb must really be dropping the ball since thier move to Utah.

P.S. didn't want to start a new tread and beat on this, and since this is the Limited Run car we got , I wanted to mention and ask about the one we SHOULD have got.

Oh and as for the racing stripes on the ESX
I wouldn't do it on my STI but it does say

"American"

to me when I see them so for the first Limited Run USDM Sti to have them makes since to me.

Default AST/Powerstation, Whiteline Group 4, Ohlins or KW coilovers?

Anyone else notice the plaque on the engine trim... "Signiture Series" ?! Freakin' spell it right for that kind of money.
Yeah, at 425 horse, you’d think they could have worked at least one ‘z’ in there.

Seriously, the stripes are way, way too much for me, but I’ll be interested to see how the actual substance of this package compares to the a la carte approach.

Default RE: Where is my STI

I stopped by easystreet yesterday and talked to Ira about this car a little.
A) It's 425 at the crank.
B) if Subaru dealers are selling them I would have to guess that they are under waranty
C) it is completly street legal
D) it is C.A.R.B approved

Ofcourse you could mod your own and get better HP but this car keeps all the carbs, and ya can't get a ticket for any of the parts.

You can get ESX stage IV for like $10,000 with parts and labor but that is only engine performance parts. Does not include, paint, interior, supension upgrades.

So the moral of the story is if you wnat to upgrade the safe way, have your parts warrentied and still feel safe driving on the street this seems like a good idea to me but pricey. If you want to put together your own config and blow up your new car you can surely make it faster then this.

You can build an sti to 425 crank HP without blowing anything up. 425 whp is another matter (without upgraded internals I mean). Upgrade internals and I don't see why you can't do the same thing as this only with 425 whp that will still pass emissions in some states. The other states aren't worth living in.

I agree it's nice to be able to buy an sti with this kind of performance already built in, but the appearance mods and the price aren't really that attractive.

Default RE: This is funny...

What I want to know is if Subaru is going to Warranty cars with the addition of those parts either in total or in part. It will be interesting to see how this turns out. Subaru has been doing limited editions in the UK for years. I doubt very much they will cover it. Would be nice though even if they just covered mods with STi and SPT parts or some "blessed" selection.

It will be fun to watch either way. And much as I love red... no stripes for me.

I think it's sweet. 425hp and a factory warranty. 8) It's nice to see Subaru of America working with Easy Street. I love Subaru even more after reading this.
