Just Thinkin...2006........body style......P

I was talking to my cousin today about how close i am to buying my STI, but 1 of my concerns was on the 2006 models coming out when it dawned on me.
The limited edition esx 450hp \STI is going to be a 2006 model right??? and thats using the current body style so that would lead me to believe 2006=no body difference and hopefully power increase (not that theres not enough power now but it never hurts to wish right?) now i'm just thinking out loud...... but its a point!!!! What do ya think???????????

It's probably not a valid point since the parts to create the esx should fit on the 06 even with mild body changes. I just bought an 05 STI and where I live these things are so rare that 99.9% of the people have no idea what an 03,04-05 or 06 look like. Still a unique car and from the latest pic's I've seen, I really like my 05. The first pics that came out of the 06 I really liked. All the ones after that have looked really bad to me. Either way the changes are going to be just minor front (Bumper/Hood/Headlights) and possibly rear (bumper/Taillights) if it happens at all. I hope they change it, makes my 05 more unique since it only had a 2 year run of that body style.

Yeah thats not a good point, aftermarket companies still use production vehicles from many years ago... think Skyline GT-R Z-tune that was just made. Im sure in less than a few years ESX will start tuning the newer style though, but Im sure ESX doesnt want to wait until september.
