plus in the last part of the video, it shows understeer from the STi, resulting in a 1.2 sec slowwer track time than the EVO...

The video is great, and that guy is hilarious! But in all fairness, despite the STi's understeer, we mustn't forget to mention that the EVO they used was a different version, with 301 HP. I guess that sort of skews the results as far as the North American market is concerned.

But in the end, just like both the hosts, I'd choose the "Impretsa." I don't know why! 8)

Yeah, I've had this video on my desktop for a few days now....and I just love the couple parts when he's talking about the Subaru.

"The noise it makes...got a macho gearbox, got macho steering...it even smells of man......the essense of burnt clutch....splash it on all over before going out at night for a curry....and a FIGHT"

Yup yup...this video is a keeper...even if it isn't completely relevant here.

just to double check, did the video end abruptly for y'all; just after the beginning of the track test of the sti? my file is 26MB.

oops. just redownloaded; my first download apparently ended 10mb short. seems weird that the truncated file still played. (actually, the truncated file wouldn't play in windows media player, but would in the divx player.)

i had this whole clip as well as other impreza stuff on a video called "Subaru Impreza" or something like that back home... because it is in PAL i didnt bring it here, i will ask a friend to see if he can put it on to his computer and send it... if it works maybe someone can host it... its a 45 mon video... pretty good.
