Speed TV's Tuner Transformation has just created its own sleeper STI with a stock hood(no scoop), trunk lid, aps front mount intercooler and intake along with a Perin 3" TB, walbro fuel pump and Ecuteck reflash. It made 279 hp to the wheels and 300 lbs of torque to the wheels. They also repainted the wheels and brakes satin black and added KVR cross drilled rotors for the ultimate sleeper. They say the stock turbo is now maxed but it seems like a simple setup for the perfect sleeper.

Default ski rack?

Yea i saw that episode today, if that guy puts in a bigger turbo he'll be set for life heh. Other than that those #s are pretty impressive for so few modifications...I think alot of the power gains can be contributed to the dyno tuning. Those guys looked like they knew their subarus.

I didn't like the show. I love the hood scoop, I'm still on the fence about the wing but the more I look at it the more I like it. I think they ruined a beautiful car.

That guy wasn't very happy when he first saw his car. After they started explaining it to him he understood.

They are loacated just outside Toronto Ontario, Canada. So I dont think you would want to make that trip.

I was driving side by side with that thing along sandlewood ave. for a while. The engine mods were done but the hood and trunk had not been painted yet. That thing sounds amazing up close and it hauls majour a$$.

Default RE: Subaru Tech in Denver and Vicinity

Haha.. no. The guys who ran the garage didn't know much but those STi experts knew their stuff. I think the black wheels look tacky. Those are anything but sleeper. I think the idea was sweet as hell though. It turned out nice.
