I was on Bridgestone REO1R's last year. And I was turning 1:20.2 sec laps at Waterford on the occasional stopwatch. They have a treadwear of 140. This year I'm on Nitto NT-01's. They have a 100 treadwear. And my best times with the occasional stopwatch is a 1:20.02 (Not sure what my best REO1R times were,..no My-Chron). So from what little info I have,..the Nittos are worth .2 of a sec per lap. The Bridgestones were great in the wet at Grattan this spring. I doubt the Nittos would be,...especially in their current condition. I'll definately go back to the Bridgestones next time. I think they last twice as long as well. The Nittos had tread on them when new, like in the pic below. The tread on the entire left hand portion is close to bald now though. Not sure how much longer they'll last. The grip isn't any better than the Bridgestones until it's hot out and you're killing them. Then they seem to get better than the Bridgestones. And while the Nitto sidewalls are really stiff vertically,..they flop about a bit side to side,..so it takes some getting used to. They seem to flop over and then take a set. It's a bit un-nerving at first. Last edited by DuckStu; 10-13-2008 at 04:36 PM.

Yeah,...I was like I hope so,..I drive it 15,000 miles in the 10 months a year I drive it, and it's got 87K on it. I wonder what made it look not street legal? The full interior? The factory seat belts? The DVD player? The License plate?
