IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2006 Trader Rating: (11) | Fun meet this week and a decent turn-out - what'd we have, 2 WRXs, 4 STi/STIs, an STI Limited and a big GMC pickup (Daryll's a Subaru driver, so he counts!), out there this time? ![]() Steve said he'll bring his girl out in her WRX next time and my buddy Dan will be out in his 2.5i - let's keep'em comin'! |

IWSTI Addict since: May 2003 Trader Rating: (3) | Gathering was good, as always..never a bad thing to talk crap and cars for a few hours... BTW... Adam....don't get rid of those wheels without hitting me FIRST!!!!! hahaha. Oh and just start a thread on all the forums looking to trade your tail lenses, you'll get someone to trade straight up. That's what I did. I can help you flip them around. They are easy as crap to swap. They take 10 minutes total to remove the old install the new and swap the bulbs around... Darryl...good to see you again, good luck this weekend in Ypsi. good luck with your 'tinkering' too...Make sure you continue to take care of that wife of yours too. Chris...I'll hit you up later today regarding your lappy. Jimb0 |

| Lurker | It was nice to meet everyone out at the MI - Weekly "ESSO" (East Side Subaru Owners) Gathering. Thank you to those putting it together & keeping it going. I had a good time and definitely plan on making the trip again. jtsherri - your car setup definitely proves that an FP Green is not laggy and is a great daily driver. Thanks for fielding my many questions. Jimb0 - I'm now extremely jealous of launch control. |

It was really cool meeting you and talking enough car **** to drive most people insane! ![]() Glad you liked the car - hopefully it inspires you to continue down the modding path (whether you go 20g or Green is irrelevant, as long as you do one of the two) - hit me up if you have any other questions! Oh and we'll see just how "daily driveable" this bad boy is after a year or two and hope the block is still holding strong... The clutch is a completely different story. ![]() Jason

Jim: good to see you again, love the car. Makes me wanna get my tint done ASAP. Gonna try and keep "da wifey" happy (never happen) so I can keep adding "race credits". And BTW, my truckie ain't biggie! See you guys next time. And if you feel bored Sunday, come on over to the SW side and check out the DRSCCA autocross. Google, 128 Factory St, Ypsilanti. We will be there from (me at 4:30a) 8:00a ~ 5pm. Darryl

Thanks for the invite - if I have some time on Sunday, maybe I'll swing out... And don't take offense to the big truck comment - my wife drives an F150 and I razz her all the time for killing the environment (she recycles paper and plastic, yet gets a consistant 15 mpg), but it really is nice having a truck around! ![]() Definitely hit me up for a ride at the next meet and we'll go for a spin.
