anyways im trying to get my bro ( evo, so be nice ) to show up .

so i was talking to the sherrif about keeping the meet there and also about getting a permit.
he said not to worry about having to get a permit.

anyways if you guys have anything you guys wanna show off ( legal ofcourse) at the meets bring it with you and show it off ( RC car, pics, parts, ect. )

oh and most importantly NO asshatting at the meets!! pass it on to the ppl you invite.

Yeah, you got it right... I go by Jay or Jason, but I think "James" prefers "Jim".

Feel free to have your bro show up - let's just keep this thing set up as an "if you invite the person, it's your job to kick them out if they act like an asshat"-type thing (not saying your bro is an asshat... but I'm sure you get the point!). I'm sure we'll still be getting some random people showing up through these threads; however, it'll help to keep things under control.

Concerning the cop, I heard him say that and was pretty psyched - he seems like a really cool guy and I hope he shows up in his 9-2x one day soon!

Lastly, concerning "show and tell", I have good news and bad news... The bad news is, I won't have a lot to "bring" to show off by the next meet. The GOOD news is that all of the things I would have brought to show off will be installed on my car. Stay tuned...

Ferraris and NSXs, huh? I don't even need runs to want to see those - both cars are beyond hot!

Like I said, I'll continue to show up weekly for at least an hour, as long as there seems to be interest... I would say that we change this from a bi-weekly to a weekly meet once we get 3 meets in a row with 10 or more cars. Thoughts?

It can be a weekly meet right now if you so choose. I just won't be able to show up for every other week. I'm going to split time between this and the Novi meet, and since both are pretty far from home, I'd rather not guzzle the gas it would take to hit both meets. Others may agree.

FYI ~ So it's been decided that we should set this as a bi-weekly meet, until we get a steady 8-10 car regular turn-out. Monday (8/9) is an off-week, so nobody will be there.

Just wanted to give anyone thinking about coming up a heads-up.

Also, I plan to head up between 7 and 8 on a weekly basis (in case some people show up, I can let them know that it's the wrong week and that they should come the following week); however, I'm still working on my turbo upgrade and won't be able to make it out this week...

This Mt. Clemens meet is weekly. I only attend every other week.

The Novi meet is at the Novi BW3s on Tuesday about 7. There's a very long thread about it in the Midwest forum on NASIOC.

ACTUALLY, we decided to do the Mt. Clemens meet every other week until the turn-out climbs to over 8-10 "regulars". I'll be showing up weekly for 1 hour, just incase people show on the wrong week, so that I can "set them straight."

I will be updating the original post concerning whether it's an "on" week or an "off" week, with the date.

FYI ~ This coming Monday (7/16) is an ON week!
