Thanks. My surgery was friday the 25th. I am already out of the post surgery brace and into the brace I was wearing before surgery. I can walk up and down steps. I can nearly do full to the ground lunges. I still have a little bit of swelling keeping me from full range of motion. I start PT next week. I hope to be joggin/running again in a few weeks. I would have never guessed this surgery would be this easy. I only used crutches for less than 24 hours. I have been walking since. I used a donor graft instead of harvesting from myself. helps the recovery by a couple of months. My surgeon was Dr. Kenneth Scott out of Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Surgery was less than an hour and a half.

I had the donor too! In 3 months I was running on thread mill!
My advise is follow what PT is telling you and do some more exercise home too!! It's hard now but you'll be up in no time!!
Good luck man!!

I try to stay active at work and home. I went to work on the monday following my surgery. I try and walk up adn down the stairs a bunch of times throughout the day for the reason of strenghtening, and I hate to sit for too long. I want to get back to playin soccer and basketball. It sux not being able to. As soon as I can, I will get back into cycling to help with the strenghtening.

Nah, it's pretty light, but between the dark paint, somewhat dark interior and other tint it looks pretty good.

Race Rochester is open late.

They do a "buy two get one free" on Mondays and Tuesdays. ($30 for 3 races). Races bought that way must be used on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Some friends go up there on Modnday at 7 ish. They'd love it if we joined them. There is one of the better Big Boys acoss the street for a burger and shake after.

I'll be going regardless.

I organized a dinner for 1-series owners on Saturday and mentioned the idea of doing something like this with ESSO and they seemed very interested. If we do this over the course of the next month I don't know if I could organize it with them fast enough (1addicts.com isn't as active as this place); however, it's not to say we couldn't do it and then again when I could get things organized with them...

Regardless, I'm always game for karting!

Me too, but I will have to wait a few more months before I get into any activities like that. It's even tough to shift hard...

Default New Goodies!

For those interested in the non-Subaru...

Carbon Fiber Roundel & Tint (factory tint on the front windows, 30% on the rear 1/4 windows):

(Click for larger images)

More Carbon Fiber Roundel (this MAY end up being a "show only" piece, but haven't decided, yet):

Exhaust and more tint:

More exhaust:

A special thanks to Adam for all of the help on the install (he works much faster than I do and essentially installed the whole thing!) and also to Ryan for standing around my garage eating Thai food and handing us tools on occasion.
