On the subject of tint....who can install if I have the tint? Need the two frt door windows done on the Sierra and the STi windows done.

It's just some guy working out of his garage, but it is a legitimate business, he uses good tint and he does GREAT (and reasonably priced) work.

what's the details of the tint dude?...The guy that did mine was good and fairly cheap. He tinted my STI in my own garage to boot!

I paid $240 and he tinted every window including the windshield and sunroof. He uses Llamar products. I can say that after a year (I have no shade to park in for work) It has not faded a bit. I have a piece he left over and I compare the two every couple of months. BTW his name is Matt. I don't remember if it's on his site or not. I have fixed that link too. That was the old site it's now WWW.TINTDETROIT.COM. Sorry!

I didn't have Matt do my car, but have heard lots of good things about his work. He's done work for a lot of the guys on XceedSpeed.com and they all rave about how good it is.

Also, the guy that did mine charged me $90 for just the rear 3 windows (mind you, on the Bimmer this is 2x 1/4 windows and the rear window so it may be more on a Subie).

He was willing to knock $10 off since Ryan and I did our cars at the same time so he might be willing to do some sort of "Group Tint Buy" if a few of your guys get together and send him some business...

Maybe we can set this up. I really want to get the front doors on the truck tinted as well as the Subie.

If 90 for a bimmer then maybe under 150 for subi, right? With a group tint... who knows....

I'm still fighting with Subaru Pre-Cut Tint Kits - WeSellCarParts.com for the tint... their supplier send me twice the wrong tint... I want my money back... and get another tint befor the summer's over.

J, why did you do only the rear 3? 'cause of the law?

With the car already being black and the front windows factory tinted I didn't want the car to look too dark/ghetto by having it "murdered out" (same reason I left the chrome rings on the grills and replaced only the slats). Not to mention I don't feel like dealing with fix-it tickets - I got 30% on the rear three and the car looks pretty good, in my opinion.
