I'd be game for some Cold Stone, but I just got home from picking up the dog from the inlaws house after the long ride home so I'm kind of beat. I think I'm pretty much spent for the rest of the night...

I knew it was you. When i saw the two bikes merging into the traffic, I paid close attention. I do whenever the two-wheelers are around. I saw that it was you as I drove by.

Trackday was fun as always. Note to self: top off the gas tank before you hit the track. I actually ran into fuel starvation during the last session.

Track day was sad. My 4th gear synchro went and then DuckStu told me how much it would cost me and I about dug a grave for myself. I didn't even get to get good data on my JDM Pinks

MGizzle, you should have just used 4th gear. I did my last run using only 4th gear and I swear it was my best run of the day. At least it felt the best.

Remeber that you are stage 2 so you have low end torque. I am stock. 4th gear through the S's, the hill top etc. is just boging around. I use third gear a lot at that track and have to shift into 4th during corners. I shift into 4th after turn 1, after diping down the hilltop, after the S's and in the middle of swamp.

The second session I tried 4th gear only (5th at the back straight) and the fastest time I hit was a 1.25, which is 2 seconds off what I have ran there for a while last time around with shot tires. It just sucked man and then you stop thinking about the track and start thinking more about the shifting.

So I guess I'll have to wait until the clutch wears a bit more and than I will service that as well as the synchro.

I have a friend who works in the ER down South. I know what happens when people aren't paying attention around motorcycles. It starts with triage and gets worse from there.

As for fuel starvation, Stu basically warned me. It's apparently a function of our fuel system. Oh wells. I'll just top off before I get to the track.
