I have a Tire Rack catalog here at work and on one page they show the Breyton Race GTS wheel in silver 20" on a 6-series and it looks really nice. I'd go for it.

On second thought, I would try to get a wider than stock wheel if there are no fitment issues. Thats just me tho.

Wheel choices are very limited right now... this is the only decent choice available without going for a completely custom wheel. I believe RE30s are available, but I personally don't care for the look on THIS car (on a Subie = WIN).

If a decent priced set of staggered wheels came out that allowed me to run 9.5" wide out back with a whole lotta rubber, I'd probably be down...

Besides silver I'd consider gun metal or even something **gulp** polished, but nothing outside of those. My love for gold (or bronze) wheels is pretty much limited to Subies.

Subie + WRB + Gold + "Cherry Blossom Red" = Battle colors.

A black 135 on gold BBS REs would be sexy as Hell. But meh. Your car. Just don't do chrome. Too domestic.

Honestly, I DO think gold would look good... but my personal preference is to keep that color on a Subie.

We'll see. I'm trying to avoid spending big $$ on the car this year, but we all know how that goes... If I can hold off until next spring and just buy winter tires this year I may allow myself to go a little crazy (there will be more parts available then anyway).

Some guys were using plastic Tee's....didn't know what you had. So thoughts go to hose or gasket. Didn't you have a turbo-back installed?

Ya, APS 3" TBE

I think it has to be some rubber hose, it goes away pretty quickly once I boost a few times and I think the metal would take more heat to expand to make a leak go away. Altho, that reminds me, I should probably check my EGT sensor to make sure that hasn't gone anywhere.

I had a very amusing run-in with a Charger SRT-8 tonight... Remind me to tell you guys about it at the meet on Monday (yes, I'll be there...).

Scott: definitely check that sensor, but I think you'd have a WHOLE lot of noise coming out of your car if it was missing... your theory on the T could be right, but I'd seriously be floored if that was the case.

Unless you hear something, I also don't really think it would be an exhaust leak either... If you ride next to the median wall on the expressway at cruising speed you can generally hear some sort of noise caused by exhaust leaks if you get your head close to the wind (or partially sticking out of the window... if it's safe!).

If your boost is fluctuating like that my $$ is more on the circuit that's occurring between the airbox and the throttle body. Another worth-while test is to take a few logs of this happening and send them to Tony. He's great about reading those #s...

I don't specifically think that I have an exhaust leak, but I never checked it after I installed it, and I want to be absolutely sure that it is good.

Bummer.

There's a big fireworks display down here in the 'Clem tonight. Unfortunately we have a pact with "The Keys" that gives them rights to our parking lot and I was very limited on the # of passes I could get, but it should be a ton of fun if any of you guys wanna try and fight your way up here. Sponge is playing tonight and there will be all kinds of hot, scattered ass walking around!
