This weekend? I have a lot to get done before the track day, including preparing for my family to visit. Plus, you know I don't do cones.

i would be there to take pics and hang out but i have classes tonight and sat and sun, so my weekend is taken up.

Yes that's right,...toilets and toilet paper.

Here's what toilets look like here.



In the morning they "may" have a roll of toilet paper put in them. But the rolls are about 1/8 of a roll of Quilted Northern in length. (Ahhh,...wonderfull, luxurious Quilted Northern,..I can only dream). Then after a few users they're out. For the rest of the day it's fend for yourself. People cary around these glove-box like kleenex packets in their purses to wipe their rears. Problem is,..my rear is about 2-3 times the size of theirs,...and my stomach isn't fully used to some of the spices.

So after a refreshing lunch of super hot spices and maybe some bugs, or lamb stomach,...or grissle,....you've got a case of explosive diharreah comming on. You jaunt over to the bathroom and voila! WTF!


My fiancees' place has regukar toilets though. And we went to the store for TP and such. Instead of the taxi cabs (Hyundai Sonattas and VW Jettas mostly) we took the now illegal micro-mini cab.


I've seen some fabulous places though.
The Great Wall.


The Forbiden City (IT'S HUGE)


I'm having to navigate Microsoft Windows from memory. Everything is in Chinese. All the pull downs etc. Slows it down a bit.

12 hour time difference. We went to bed 3 days ago at 2 am,..got up at 3 to do the Great Wall and such,....then cought a flight to Hangzhau at 9 pm,..got in at midnight. I'm still in Hangzhao now, where my fiancees' condo is. We're catching a train tonight for a 16-17 hour ride to Hunan where her parents and middle sister live. We've booked a sleeper room. Funna catch some Z's.

On a DIFFERENT NOTE... I just spent the last two hours yakking with Dave. Yes, that Dave. Silver WRX with the Decepticon STi wing. Dave! OMGWTFBBQ.

He still has the car, and he's still working toward an STi. Ryan already knows this. He's back! Whether he shows up at a meet... well, we'll see.

I'll be on Woodward again tomorrow night. Call if you're going out, or drop a line here before about 2 pm. I have to go to the office for a bit...
