You're going to need an oil filter sandwich adapter for your two oil sensors. EGT requires a drill, vice, thread tap, cutting oil, and center punch. Also, PB blaster to get the manifold off... You'll have to do an oil change when you install the sandwich adapter, as you will have to remove the filter to get the adapter installed. You honestly might as well thread the oil sensors in and run the wiring up and tie it off when you do this, since you're already down there... Anyways, gauges are not as small a project as they may seem

I'm waiting until May because my summers are stored at home in Michigan (FTW) so I have to wait until there's pretty much 99% no more snow...also, the timing works out because I'm installing my sways that weekend in May. I hope you guys are good with tools, cause you're all hoping to install not-too-simple mods

I got it from Mark at RevSpec they have a package for boost, oil temp, water temp and control unit for 650 shipped so I put a package together of what I wanted and he gave me a price $885 shipped to my door. I talked to Rich at AMS some may know him from P&L and they quoted me: Defi link control unit II-$115 Defi BF series - EGT-$299 Defi BF series - Oil pressure-$299 Defi BF series - Oil Temp-$224 And that was without the CF triple gauge pod and they wouldn't have to ship them. With the gauge pod I saved like 200. I looked all over the internet and RevSpec had the best prices for the gauges.

IWSTI Addict since: Mar 2005 Trader Rating: (8) | I'll pick my preferred dates once I confirm which weekend I won't be on-call for work. Also, I would offer my garage too (but not the cleanest garage), and it's detached so we will have to do it on a "somewhat" warm weather ... Last edited by covert747; 03-15-2007 at 07:55 PM. |
