Saw another...

Wednesday 9-27-2006, 11pm - 159th & 80th ave, all the way to 159th & Harlem
Black 05 with a Japan sunrise vynil, quite modded. I would say Cat-less TBE, intake, blow off valve, silver wheels of some kind or another... they were spinning so hard to see. We did a little rolling start race, I didn't even hit the gas. I was chillin in 5th @ 40mph, I wasn't going to waste my gas or his, IM STOCK MAN! He wanted to race though, I guess just to gauge his car next to a stock one. So we line up again at like 30 or less, I grabbed second and we just sat there... next to each other, neither one of us hitting the gas, this went on for about a block... FINALLY he starts to pull a little so I hit it and he takes a big jump on me, about half a car and we hit third just in time to slam on the brakes because of a Cop sitting at the intersection in a Ford Explorer (TOTALLY unmarked, all we noticed was antennas) So that was that, the cop didn't bother and I assumed that was my gimme for the night and took her home.

BTW: I don't think anyone who isn't on these forums is respectful to each other as fellow STI owners. Seams like they just act like hard asses and raise their nose to you, cause they have a faster STI (whether they do or don't)

I was actually next to this kid in an EVO, I saw him for the second week in a row, at about 11-midnight on my way home from work. We got next to each other and he said whats up, and I think I saw you last week and such. I told him I like the track he had laid out (he picked a nice combo of roads to take, lots of curves, off the beaten path). We never got a chance to race cause the first time we were just cruisin, getting into it now and then, and the second time there was a cop in front of us THE WHOLE TIME.

OK, that's a long enough post, in fact. That should count as two.

After driving my STI non-stop for 3 weeks straight..... i hop into my poor neglected 1.8 sentra and next thing you know this bad a-- EVO 8 (wingless) is right in front of me on the Elgin-Ohare!!!I cant believe im not in my 06 STI!! I stay with him until we get on 290E,when all of a sudden a Wingless STI comes flying up on the EVO! I think to myself "bad day not to have my STI"!! They both exit on 83 South!! I bet they knew each other!?

I keep seeing a bunch of STi's downtown. Last week was a gold mine, i saw a few 06's. One in my parking garage 500w monroe, then i saw some guy on like state and something, he reved at me gave him the nod, looked like he had some splitter deals in the front. Spotted a white 05 turning on to LSD from rosevelt the other night also. Also spotted a few black 05's.

Then on the south burbs (palos'ish) i saw a few guys also, once again a bunch of 06's. There was a guy turning on to LAgrange on 111th i think. Its really odd i go like months without seeing another STi.

Also spotted a some girl driving a evo8, she didnt look to bad, i got the typical bov and wave. I spotted her one night while i was roaming orland park in my 400whp civic, missed her by a light. I wanted to give her the BOV and a wave

Saw a WRB 04/05 STi on I94E on 10/20/06 @ around 7:30 p.m. I was merging onto the freeway at the Old Orchard Ramp.

Friday Nov. 4th around 5pm driving on College Ave. Nice black 04-05 STi with black rims, tinted windows and what looked like a borla hush exhaust (it was certainly quiet!)
Surprised to see an STi around here. I see about 5 mustangs a day, but never any subie action (esp STi's). There are two gray ones around, but I thought I had the only black one in town...

It sounds like Muffnbluff ('05 OBP, Prodrive British Black wheels, Cobb Turboback, tint) but Columbia is about 2 hours from STL, where he lives
