IWSTI Addict since: Nov 2006 Trader Rating: (2) | Well a while back we announced that we were going to be designing an intake manifold for the Subaru EJ20 and EJ25 engines. Many people have asked us how this is going and when it will be ready, cost etc etc etc. Well I didn't want anyone to think we were dragging our feet on this so I thought I would show you where we were in the engineering process. Here at the shop we have a rapid prototype machine at our disposal. What this means is we can go from concept to CAD to Prototype very quickly. We can even have something rapid cast to even test the products potency. This is the same process we used for our EVO VIII intake manifold that you can see below: ![]() Well although the below images might not represent the final product I wanted to show the members here that we are working very diligently on getting an AMS intake manifold solution to you. Below are the images of our current ideas after they have been rapid prototyped. Again this might not even be close to what we actually come up with but at least you can get an idea of how much work we are putting into this. We won't pour the mold until we know its the best we can offer. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Darius This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

I read in the thread below that the velocity stacks sticking into the main plennum was a great thing for N/A engines,..but didn't work well on boosted engines. And that the more typical style where the plennum walls simply fall away to become the runners worked best. It was from this thread, post #239 Roller Barrel ITBs and Custom Intake Manifold Design - Page 10 - NASIOC On a side note,..did you see the beautiful ITB's he machined in post #33 page 2, and the nearly finished product in Post #142 on page 6 I'd prefer a signle throttle myself for tuning reasons,..but holy smokes is that nice stuff. Have you guys done testing in this area or learned something definitive one way or another? I take it there would be a center section with silicone couplers in the middle? Or would you be making it a one piece cast mannifold? |

IWSTI Addict since: Sep 2008 Trader Rating: (0) | Will this manifold help even out AFR from cylinder to cylinder? If so does this mean we will be able to tune for even more HP via leaner (almost 12.0 to 1) AFR with race gas? Will the manifold be able to operate "rotated"? I'm sorry if my questions seem sophomoric . BTY,I've seen Evos run 10's in daily driver trim with your 4g63 manifold This ad is not endorsed by this member.
