^ aint going down without a fight. i leave tomorrow for topspeed, as long as my clutch shows up tomorrow morning. it was suppossed to arrive today, act didnt get it shipped out on time.

anyway, I'll try to post my dyno numbers on saturday, timeslips on sunday. there are no subaru gods, or else they would have shown me some sort of mercy.....so I need the support of you guys!

well, good news bad news...as usual, haha. Doug spent a lot of time tuning today, my car is not making the power it should, however it is doing fine. it's not holding boost, not sure if I'm having a problem with my wastegate spring, or if my turbo just isnt pushing my motor.

with all of that being said, it made 560/493 on 28 psi. Also, another factor could be the fuel that I'm running. I couldnt get any c16, so I had to use some phillips 118 from the local race shop. Not sure how the phillips stacks up to vp.

here's the good news....the last time I left topspeed, my car made 545/471 on a break-in tune. Doug, knowing I ran teh ****z outta my cars made the tune more conservative, roughly 460whp. I ran 11.2 at 128 on that tune. So, I'm making 100whp more than previous, which means I should achieve my personal goal, 10 sec pass.

I'll let everyone know how it goes tomorrow.

What wastegate spring do you have in your gate? Tim (Slorice) had the same issue until he got a stiffer spring, think he said he went to a 20psi setup and now his boost is solid up top.

well, good news and bad news as usual...my first pass the car broke up on boost and was a blown run. doug arrived, made a few changes to the map, ran 10.8 at 127mph, 7.00 at 101mph, 1.69 60ft. hoofukkinray!!!! i only ran 26psi!!!

doug made some changes, added some timing and boost. 3rd pass went screaming down the track, easily a mid 10 sec pass....until i an input shaft in my dogbox.

so, i made my 10 sec pass, but didnt get to drive her home.

oh well, I'll get her fixed asap and try to enjoy her for a while before hitting the track in the spring.

congrats on reaching the 10s, are the dog box input shafts that fragile?

thanks guys! kind of a bitter sweet feeling right now, would have like to driven my car home. Not sure what to do about the input shafts, Andrew is a standup guy so I'm sure he's gonna find a solution for me.

Congrats man, and another nice first time launch with an ACT! The car/setup has never cooperated with you ONCE to its fullest potential and you still manage some fantastic driving. If you could have seen what he did with his car and its constant stalling at Rockingham a year ago you would have been shaking your head.

That was DAMN close to a sub 7 1/8th!

Thanks man! I was actually running the exedy triple, the act was shipped to my house in NC instead of AL. I'll be installing it this week, along with a stock flywheel.
