Keeping the fingers crossed for ya bro.

This is probably THE biggest difference between the extreme aftermarket for the EVO and STi. The STi is just now getting the biggest/baddest parts, but when you put them all together they just don't seem to like working with each other the way they do for the older platforms.

It just needs to come together for that big 10 second pass and then get out of it asap ().

WOW I can now totally relate to your pain

Just got my Axis motor back in the car and running. Everything running so smooth and perfect. Just finished the initial break in of city driving and started going WOT with some really low boost (~7-8psi) Was getting on the freeway in 4th gear today and around 5k it felt like the gear popped out. Tried to get it back into gear but it wouldn't go and then 1st/2nd/3rd were all very hard to get into. Pulled over to check things out and everything looked fine from the outside so I tried to drive the car again. Now 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, and reverse all work perfect. However 3rd gear won't go in at all and 4th gear goes into position but it feels like it's in neutral. So looks like 4th gear is broken or some other issue thats causing this crap Sucks since Phil is in my area next week and I was planning to get the car tuned sigh always something with high hp cars.

Best wishes, both Austin and Dan.

Theres always the new Skyline or a tastey v8 M3 if you decide to dump the subby, which at this point have proven to be alot of trouble for almost everybody tryin to go over 500 hp.

I'm waiting for my Skyline

BTW i loved my puck clutch

I can't believe you have to go through tranny issues again. Such a rip-off.

tranny was pulled today, the input shaft was snapped in half. Andrewtech is overnighting a replacement to Koby Subaru for the install tomorrow. I also ordered an act 4 puck extreme, rated at 660tq+, as well as an oem flywheel.

we should have everything together by thursday/friday, which means I still plan on getting tuned sat, dragstrip on sunday.

I refuse to give up....

Damn man thats pretty nutty I must say! Good on you for having such a helpful Suby dealership even though you're modded like crazy. Also glad you took the advice on the ACT 4 puck extreme, that should be plenty!

^everything. the clutch definitely does its job, but it's ridiculously loud, and too grabby. I didnt care for my exedy twin either, but it also did it's job for a season. I look forward to the act, due for a change.

jose is handling this job, I have a lot of faith in him.

Just got back from Koby and man is that one PERFECT break! There is no way you can even tell that input shaft is broke its just that clean! Inside of box looks nice and clean for sure. I really like how those straight cut gears look in there : ) Btw how much are you looking to get for your old setup?

I bought it for $1800, used it for 1600 miles......hopefully $500. Jose said it looked great, but it's a crazy clutch.
