You've got that right. It really blows people away to jump into a 4cyl and get planted so far into their seat when accelerating that they can't reach out and touch the dash. I love it!!! Awesome car Austin! I hope to follow in the "master's" foot steps one day.

And one more word to those who aren't anywhere near this far in the modding process, if you aren't a VERY patient person, you do not need to take modding this far. Trust me on that one and I'm sure Austin will back me here.

There are probably a couple dozen of us "slow learners" here now, so you're not alone amigo. Reminds me of the old Bob Seeger line, "Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then."

lol that is funny chit man, that is one of my favorite things with my v8rx7, people are shocked to see it in person and after a drive/ride in it theyre sparked with a whole new interest in cars while still feeling a little queasy from the speed and cars all around capability. ya gotta love having fun sharing the experience with people, that is such a big reason of why cars are great.

axles/cv joints arrive tomorrow, r180 already installed. should be up and running by saturday.

I"m headed back to the track next wed night, gonna try to find my next weakest link before we retune on c16 30psi+.

Also, if anyone is interested....I have convinced TopSpeed to have a customer appreciation day Nov 10th. We will be retuning my car on vp import for a race the following day in Montgomery. We should easily hit mid/upper 600's. Come on over to topspeed, I think they are going to have a car show, tour of the facility, meet the staff (including Valerie and SS), etc. should be a great time!

ok, i installed the r180 and axles, but still having problems. i think my center diff is toast, should find out very soon. my car doesnt move when i drive it in the auto mode, but will drive once the dccd is in the manual mode but only in full lock. i put my car on jackstands and drove in 1st gear, only the front wheels are moving.....could be a bad r180 or center diff. hope to find out soon.

good news and bad news....the r180 that i installed was a 3.54 instead of a 3.90. definitely not a good thing, car didnt like it at all. I ordered a brand new r180 with a 3.90 for the low low price of $1200, should be here bt wed/thur this week. so, for those of you that grenade a rear diff, make sure you match the proper gear ratio when finding a replacement (04/05 have 3.90 and 06/07 have 3.54).

I'm getting really good at removing/installing rear diffs/axles, got it down to 1.5hrs by myself, haha! I should be up and running by the end of the week. I refuse to miss the import showdown Nov 11th.

still have plans for a retune on Nov 10th, expecting 500+ on 93 pump/19-20psi, and mid 600's on c16/30psi.
