IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2004 Trader Rating: (3) | ^ i cant get e85, or any vp fuels. I'm held hostage to sunoco fuels, which are not that bad. I'm waiting for a meth kit to arrive, should be happy with a pump + meth tune. This ad is not endorsed by this member. Please register or login to hide this ad. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2004 Trader Rating: (3) | i went out to play tonight, ended up finding a kid with a brand new c6 vette. it had a 150 shot, intake and tune, and I was running pump gas, 1.5 bar. We went from a 25mph roll and ran door to door to 160mph, twice. I was completely shocked at how well his car performed. he said it dyno'd 470'ish, which is what my car put down on pump gas. his car was an auto, and of course I was shifting gears like a maniac. I absolutely couldnt believe how strong his car ran, and he was also shocked to see my little scooby beside of him all the way to 160. well, that might be the last time I ever do that again, but it was one hell of a race. next time i leave the house, I'll be running teh race gasssss. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2004 Trader Rating: (3) | alright guys, i have a buyer picking up my sti next week. I'm not real happy about selling her, but I have my eye on a new toy. I'm thinking about a 2008 LS3 corvette, Z51 package. it is one bad muther, and will be insane with a procharger, 600whp+ on pump gas. I'd lke to get a new 2008 STi, but I'd want to mode teh **** out it. I basically added up the cost of a 30r/fmic and supporting mods, just not sure if I want to go down that same road. I'm ready for a new flavor! what do you guys think? |

IWSTI Addict since: Oct 2006 Trader Rating: (4) | I'd get the 08 STI, and try to lead the community, cause that's what you'd be doing, and I said it before, I'll say it again, you're an inspiration to all of us, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be running GT35R in my car and keep on investing more... Keep the spirit alive. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2006 Trader Rating: (14) | LS7 would be my pick if you want to get the best horsepower:dollar ratio. If your budget is higher and want something more elegant yet still agile, Porsche GT3 would awesome. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2004 Trader Rating: (3) | not unless you consider 32 mid life. the new LS3 is a down right impressive vehicle, 420whp'ish on 93 pump with an intake, headers, and tune (C6 Z06 dyno 450 ish). bolt on a procharger for 600whp+. I love subaru's, but I've owned 9 of them in the past 4 years. I still have my 08 Spec B, just not sure if I want another STi. I like the 08's, just want to try something else for now. I want something very fast, but dont want to build motors/tranny's, also want to run on pump gas. feel free to post your suggestions! |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2004 Trader Rating: (3) | I dont fit in any porsche, actually dont fit in most sports cars, 6'6 230lbs. the LS7 seems to plateau around mid 500's, and doesnt like FI (supercharger/turbo). the new LS3 is a lot less expensive, and is much more friendly for mods/FI. a bone stock C6 Z06 dynos around 450, and an LS3 with headers, intake, and a tune dyno 420, and I can get a brand new LS3 with the Z51 package for less than 50k, whereas the Z is an additional 25k unless I buy a used one. Also, the LS3 with a procharger will break 600's, so I have ruled out the LS7/Z06. |

IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2006 Trader Rating: (14) | go test drive a Porsche Turbo or something similar, I found out it wasn't always about the power but a balance between everything, the suspension and tranny is out of this world. They seemed to be quite roomy to me, and should fit you just fine. If worst come to worst, a free test drive will never hurt. LS7 with long tubes+ exhaust and the right cam will get you a hair over 500whp. Throttle response would be much more enjoyable than your LS3 with any form of forced induction. I know you probably owned quite a few forced induction machines in the past coupe of years, I say give super responsive NA power a chance even though it is a step higher in the price bracket. by the way, why do you not like methanol so much?
