So, if someone wants to pay that price then they can have her. if not, I'll continue to enjoy the car until that day comes. I dont need to sell the car, just want to keep the possibility open to enjoy other cars. If it sold tomorrow, I'd go get an 08 STi and start over. IWSTI Addict since: Aug 2004 Trader Rating: (3) | my new 1.06 hotside has been installed, made a HUGE difference!!! Doug tuned my car to 485whp on 93 pump, 18 psi. We tried tuning the car on race gas but the wg spring wasnt being very cooperative, wouldnt hold anything over 24psi....although she made 570whp/495tq on 24psi (1 gallon of 93+3 gallons of sunoco 116). the car is ridiculously strong on pump gas, I'm sure it will runs 10's with 1-2 gallons of race gas and 21-23psi. I had a subby meet at my house today, one of the guys took a bunch of pics. here's the first one he posted, the rest will come later. ![]() Also, I'm really leaning on keeping my car. it's just running too good to pass on to someone else right now. |

No problems with the motor/heads, amazing combo. it was making 570whp/500tq on 24 psi (1 gallon of 93+ 3 gallons of 116), which means the motor is definitely putting out some power. If no one buys the car soon than I will install a new wg spring and have it tuned on race gas, I'm guessing 630-650whp at 30psi. |

I limped her off the line every time, trying my best not to break anything and also not destroy my brand new clutch that has about 700 miles on it. I ran a MAX of 1.5 bar, roughly 18psi. 2.00 60ft 7.73 @ 98.92 11.79 @ 122.98 1.97 60ft 7.77 @ 98.38 11.81 @ 122.85 2.12 60ft 7.85 @ 99.54 11.85 @ 124.04 1.97 60ft 7.83 @ 97.68 11.89 @ 122.55 I was pretty happy with the mph, figure a nasty launch would put her in the low 11's and possibly high 10's on 93 pump. My car made 480's on 93 pump 18psi, didnt get to finish the race tune because my wg spring wasnt holding anything over 24 psi, 570/500. Anyway, I had fun! Maybe next time I launch teh piss out of her! I have vids uploading to youtube, will post them asap. |
