Default UGM 07 STi 100% wingless, RB320 kit, GC-06H + fresh wax @ da Q on 3/19/08

Bought the car on 4/28/07 From South Coast Mitsubishi brand new w/ 22 miles for 29999 +ttl = 32K (thats my old S2k in the background)

(4/29/07) filled tires w/ nitrogen

(May-July) Bought a Cobb catted downpipe used w/ 1k miles on it for $415, and a Cobb APV2 used for $400 shipped. Changed oil @1750 miles.

(Aug.) I sent the car to Sinful Enhancements in Lemon Grove to delete my roof vane spoiler.

(8/28/07) Got my car back w/ dual planes still on

(8/30/07) I traded my trunk.

(9/3/07):
I went to Black's Beach (the largest nude beach in the United States) on a very hot and humid San Diego labor day.

(9/15/07)
I went to Harman Motive’s new location grand opening event

Pics of this event can be seen here…
Harman Motive grand opening

Good lookin car man.

Do you know what a stock STI puts down on thier dyno? Around 220whp? Pretty good numbers for just a downpipe and a tune.

Wow, can't believe your brand new car got destroyed by a touchless carwash. So they painted the hood, roof, trunk and quarters? Maybe it's just the picture but it looks like the color is a bit off from the rear door, mostly in this picture: http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...6/DSCN0972.jpg - hopefully it's just the lighting.

Anyway, nice start with the journal, and good numbers for a stage 2. Harman Motive FTW

Future plans?

nice writeup. Sucks to hear about the car having to go to the body shop so soon after purchase. If you dont mind, could you give me a guestimate of what the shop charged you to remove the roofvane? I have been thinking about this for quite some time but feel that it will cost a decent amount of money.

Thanks,

-Greg

Nice. Jon tuned my car also, but it was done at the old shop on the old dyno. He tuned mine to 20.5psi also. Did he make a 95 map also? I think that one hits about 22 psi, it's a huge difference. There is a gas station in Huntington Beach that sells 100 oct, it's on Beach and Garfield.

EDIT: nevermind you're in SD. I'm sure there is one down there too.

I really think it is the lightiung because I always check for it in good sun light and it always looks perfect to me.

ohlins fixed perch w/ rce or jdm pink springs (or prodrive rb320 sus.) + sways + endlinks + tophats. Then maybe some RA-R wheels or advans.

I have been quoted...
$700-1200
worth every penny if you ditch the dual plane IMO

No race gas map because I got in on their grand opening discount. I only paid $350 for my tune.
