I take it you're going with a GDB (a-d) 6speed (bugeye - 04) that way your suspension and wheels will still be good?

any particular reason you're thinking EJ257s?

i think a Ver7 EJ207 with 6-speed would be an awesome setup.
Wiring = Maidique

Big money...yes

The main reason for the 2.5... GT3076R...

This is going to be Leo's setup as well so I'm interested to see how his turns out. Leo / Juan also adviced me to go 2.5 as well...

And you're correct about the suspension. First I have to source the swap...ideally I would like to buy a totaled 04 STI...I'm not touching anything until I get a swap / car so I don't have to make future change b/c things don't fit (suspension)... after I have the car, then I'll proceed to do suspension and all that good stuff...

the reason i say EJ207 is it doesn't need pistons.

although if you really want to go that large of a turbo you'd really want a 257.

it really comes down to what you want to use the car for.

a GF with a stock MY04 setup would be fast as balls.

either way it'll be a fun project and you're in good hands at maidique.

<----------- wants a 2.5

If anything the car will run the built motor with the stock turbie till I get the 30R, that's if I get a swap car w/ a turbo...

And yea, I trust those guys a lot and they're cool people. You should come by!!!

Saturdays all day every day...

Just bought 04 STI door cards!!

Picking them up Saturday...they fit the wagon but I have to get longer door handle cables (the one's that pull the lock open) to make them work properly...and the blue alcantara is getting changed to either red or black suede...

Well, RaceComp Engineering told he they had a connection and they were going to check this weekend and get back to me...

<---------- fingers crossed

I really want them, so if they price is right (I'm aware they $$$ as hell) I'll buy them asap.

Then I can squeeze those 245's
