you'd have to do a fender pull in the rear and run alot of camber to get the 245 to work.

the GC/GFs are not fat tire friendly.

plus they are underpowered, so going with a wider/heavier tire can really hurt those guys.

all of the big power GC guys are running 225s.

and there are alot of them down here in S. Fl

between John, Vic, Leo and Josh there is more GC knowledge then you'll ever need.

have you been down to Maidique yet?

MAIDIQUE AUTO CENTER
12885 SW 42ND STREET
MIAMI, FL. 33175
305-225-8182

there just isn't the space to run a 245.

unless you do a wide body.

Same here, I actually wanted the black ones with the red logo...but for the price, I'd rock gold which isn't going to look bad, then down the road I can paint them...

This is the front end I want, (bumper / black lip)

wait, you're going to get rid of the trial bumper for a stock RS front end?

Well, I'm keeping that bumper, and this isn't going to happen anytime soon...but I hate the fact that I have to worry about bumps and whatnot...it's fiberglass and kind of rare so I won't get rid of it...but I don't want to mess it up in 6 months...

Once I get the BC Racing coilvers I'll see how low it sits w/ the rpf1's...

again, I'm throwing ideas in my head and this exterior change most probably will take place after the swap...but I honestly hate having to worry about the bumper, specially since I'll autoX / track the wagon as well...

I like this one as well...but it's sort of hard to find...and $$$...

yeah tracking down a quality 22b replica bumper is not easy.

what are you thinking of doing for the swap?

i know of a Link Plus setup that is for sale for EM.

well, I'm going ej257 / 6speed (STI swap), but I'm actually going to daily drive the wagon for 1 yr + and get rid of my Lexus IS250 (= savings of 7k in one year only in car pymnts + ins.) In between DD the wagon and getting the $$$ for the build i'll collect parts here and there, but nothing major coming for the next year at least... Right now I'm taking care of tune up needs, I want to change the carpet + headliner to black also, but nothing major yet...once I have the $$$ I'll get a daily small 4cyl and the madness shall begin...

Right now I'm doing a lot of research since this is a new platform for me and deciding exactly what it is I want out of this car / build, that's way it's a nice / smooth process with no deviations as far as getting persuaded to take different directions all the time with the car...

that's going to be big money.

are you going to attack the wiring yourself?

I take it you're going with a GDB (a-d) 6speed (bugeye - 04) that way your suspension and wheels will still be good?

any particular reason you're thinking EJ257s?

i think a Ver7 EJ207 with 6-speed would be an awesome setup.
