What is the deal with the Accessport? Is it simply a plug and play device or does it require wiring into the existing ECU? I've heard good things; but hesitate if it requires wiring since the car still has a warranty.

Still under warranty, Damn!!! my warranty was gone like 30-40 thousand miles ago...how many miles does it have and still under warranty? Yeah you need to get a nice exhaust system, accessport & tune, clear the headlights looks berry berry nice , cold air intake or just a nice aftermarket one...or just go tottally insane and max out credit cards and spend every penny on modding...caugh caugh Bill... just playin

Car has 38,000. Warranty is 60,000 or May of 2008; this was an extended warranty purchased from a dealer; includes drivetrain too

Do you have to pay for additional mappings once you upgrade your car more; or do they provide this for free? Should a dynotune also be done after you install an Accessport?

lol, I agree it is already annoying and it doesn't stay in 1 place. I'm simply using it until my 90 days as a registered user on this site hits so I can put it up for sale. I'd say it weights 75 lbs; its actually pretty light compared to others that I've seen.

welcome to another 04

for small stuff, you might want to replace your steering rack bushings with Whiteline. It will make the car respond much faster with your steering input and costs about 25 dollars for parts. Basically it alleviates the "dead spot" of steering, the amount of input of steering which receives no feedback.

Where do you recommend getting the Whiteline stuff? Can you provide a link?
